Beam distance: Thar Power wins
How far a kisan torch throws depends mostly on the reflector. Thar Power pairs our brightest 10W LED with the deepest 97 mm reflector, so it reaches furthest across an open field — the one to pick for night watch against animals or checking the far end of the farm. Agniveer’s 80 mm reflector comes second; Searchlite’s 55 mm head gives a wider, shorter beam that suits paths and sheds.
Side light and room light
Thar Power and Agniveer both have a 10W side light, bright enough to light a room, verandah or cattle shed in a power cut. Searchlite takes another route: a free USB LED bulb plugs into the back of the torch and runs for about 8 hours, so you can hang it from the ceiling like a normal bulb.
Battery and mobile charging
Thar Power has the biggest battery (7000 mAh), so it has the most charge to spare after a long night and when you also charge a phone from it. Agniveer and Searchlite use 5000 mAh. Thar Power and Agniveer work as an emergency power bank through their USB-A port; Searchlite’s USB port is meant for its bulb.
Which one should you buy?
- Choose Thar Power 10W if you need the furthest beam, the biggest battery and mobile charging — night watch, large farms, long nights.
- Choose Agniveer 5W if you want strong all-round value: good throw, a bright 10W side light and mobile charging at a lower price. A good fit for farms, shops and homes.
- Choose Searchlite 5W if you mostly need light at home and around the house — the free USB bulb lights a room, and the torch handles paths and sheds.
